HYEX Exothermic Generator

Lindberg HYEX® Exothermic Generators are gas-fired atmosphere generators that provide a low-cost protective atmosphere that consists of the products of combustion. The air/gas ratios can be varied (at the carburetor) to create a lean, non-combustible atmosphere or a rich, combustible reducing atmosphere. These generators may be operated on the oxidizing side of perfect combustion without a trace of combustibles. Atmosphere on the rich side of perfect combustion yields no oxygen and may be adjusted to yield a variety of properties desired—from no combustibles up to 18% combustibles. The typical analysis:
